Our FaverGray Homes team is making progress on a new custom residence in Atlantic Beach, Florida, and we recently stopped by the jobsite to capture a closer look at the home while construction is underway.
At this stage, you can really start to see the home come together. Rooms are taking shape, the layout is easier to visualize and many of the details that will eventually sit behind walls and finishes are still visible.
Behind the Scenes of a Custom Home Build
There’s a lot that goes into a custom home before you ever get to cabinetry, flooring, lighting and furniture.
Each stage requires coordination between our team and trade partners to make sure the details are right before moving on to the next phase. It’s one of the reasons we enjoy sharing homes during construction — you get a better sense of the work behind the finished product.
For this Atlantic Beach home, our team continues to move through each phase of construction while keeping the overall vision for the residence in focus.
Building Custom Homes in Atlantic Beach
Atlantic Beach is one of the Northeast Florida communities we especially enjoy building in. From established neighborhoods to properties near the coast, every homesite is a little different and gives us the opportunity to build around the property, the homeowners and the way they want to live.
This residence still has plenty of work ahead, but that’s part of the fun of following it from this stage. Over the coming months, the spaces you see in our latest video will begin to look very different as finishes and final details are added.
